Our Staff Members
The staff at Common Ground Community Church has spent many years commited to Christian service. Our staff enjoys serving our community, whether in sharing our faith or just lending a helping hand. Here are a few of Common Ground Community Church's staff members, starting with Roger Allen: |
Roger Allen (Pastor/teacher) 
Roger is married to Cindy (since 1982, yawl)! They have two children, Ian and Regan. Roger served 10 years with the USAF, and completed his BA Pre-Seminary with Cedarville University in 1991. Roger also has a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. |

John Allen (Administration Pastor)
John is Coast Guard Academy graduate (retired as Commander), has earned a masters in counseling from Liberty University, and is currently the Vice President of a non-profit organization. He has a passion for helping people. |

David Harris (Counseling/Mentoring Pastor)
David is a graduate of University of Virginia and graduated from seminary. He has been a full time missionary overseas for many, many years and has worked with several churches in the U.S. |

Tom Thomasson (Executive Pastor)
Tom has attended Baptist Bible College and is currently working on finishing his degree in Bible/Ministry through Liberty University. He has a passion to equip the people of God to grow in their walk with Him and be able to show others Christ. |

Phillip Wirtz (Worship Leader)
Phil and his wife Amy have five children and have lived in the Tidewater area since 2006. Phil graduated from the University of Maryland in 1999. |

Teresa Thomasson (Administration Assistant)
Teresa is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a BA in Business Management and currenly working on earning her masters degree in Business Management. She has over 20 years experience in the business world. She is married to Tom Thomasson and is mother to Ripley Anne. |
